Sites of...Practice 2024

Internal seminars and consultations with experts

The Woods project, together with six other international initiatives, was invited in 2024—through an open call selection process—to participate in the Sites of…Practice program. This year-long program supports emerging practices responding to the polycrisis and is curatorially led by Lucia Pietroiusti (Head of Ecologies, Serpentine London), Helen Turner (Artistic Director, E-WERK Luckenwalde), and curator Nada Rosa Schroer.

Sites of…Practice brings together pedagogy, cultural production, agriculture, social design, and environmental regeneration. The selected initiatives connect organizational and ecological thinking, creating platforms where artists, cultural practitioners, political thinkers, and environmental theorists come together. These actors collectively build and create while remaining attentive to the specific contexts in which they operate.

Projects selected for 2024:
Are (Czech Republic), Vessel (Greece), Estudio Nuboso (Panama), The Institute for Postnatural Studies (Spain), Katzenwedelwiese (Germany), Cuerpoterritorio (Spain), Mustarinda Association (Finland)
