Conversations on Neuroplasticity and Beyond

Neuroplasticity refers to the development of changes in the brain throughout life, not only in childhood but also after the so-called "critical periods", that is, in adulthood. Neuroplasticity is very closely related to the ability to learn and adapt. The current increased interest in brain plasticity is certainly not accidental and is related to social movements and expectations.

Tomáš Bojar and Marek Meduna conducted five video-interviews within the Woods: More-than-Human Curiosity project in which they discussed various aspects of the plastic properties of the human brain. The concept of neuroplasticity was explored in relation to the specific, mostly therapeutic, practices of the respondents. The selection of interviewees ranged from a therapist who works with brain plasticity naturally and incidentally, to a neuroscientist who studies it specifically.
